Park Inn Prague, a Carlson Rezidor hotel property, is located by the Vtlava river and about 5 minutes walk from Vysehrad Castle. There is a tram stop on both sides of the hotel within about 2 minutes walking distance, namely Vyton and Albertov. These two tram stops allowed us to take the tram to most parts of the city. An award stay at this hotel costs 28,000 Club Carlson points.
Check-in was a breeze and the front desk agents were very courteous and efficient. The front desk also sell various transportation passes and tickets and we ended up buying our group day pass each day during our stay.
The hotel used to be a printing press and you see different newspaper clipping decor all around the hotel.
The room was fairly spacious by European standards and the bed was very comfortable and I had a good night sleep on all the 3 nights we stayed there.
The bathroom had a walk-in shower and no tub, which is great as I don’t really use the tub anyways.
Thumbs up:
- Located by the Vltava river where you wan walk along the promenade in the evening.
- Located right next to 2 tram stops (within 2 minutes), Albertov and Vyton which makes getting to the tourist attractions very easy.
- Located right by the Vysehrad castle tourist attraction.
- Tesco express right behind the hotel for grabbing breakfast, snacks or supplies
