This boutique hotel is located in Miami Beach on Collins Avenue (right across the street of the Marriott Courtyard, Miami Beach). There are plenty of boutique hotels in this area but this stands out because of its retro interior style and good location.
The hotel has a very convenient location. You cross the Collins Avenue and take the narrow street beside the Marriott and reach the boardwalk. Cross that and you are at the beach. Takes less than 1 minute to get from the hotel premises to the sand.
The interior of the hotel stands out. It has a bit of a retro style and the hotel bar area is pretty nice too. The hotel lobby area has some nice, modern-art style furnishings.
The rooms are small to midsized but for a few nights stay you probably wouldn’t care much. The bathroom was pretty small though.
The restaurants in Miami Beach are pricey so if you want to save some money, there is a deli next door. The deli serves baked goods, cold sandwiches and various other food items. The breakfast at the hotel is nothing to write home about so I would just skip the breakfast and just get it somewhere else.
The hotel gave us 2 drink coupons (that can be redeemed at the hotel bar) at checkin. However, be warned that this hotel charges a daily resort fee (10$/day) as well as for breakfast a separate fee (10$/day) which were not included in the charges on our Orbitz booking.
You can park your car at a lot next to the hotel for 25$/night.
