Hotel Oleana is an iconic hotel located just 10 minutes walking distance from Bergen Sentrum station. It is located at a very convenient spot to walk to local attractions like Bryggen neighbourhood (12 minutes), Fish Market (6 minutes) and Floyen Funicular (10 minutes). We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights for the entirety of our stay in Bergen and used a total of 60,000 Choice Privilege points.
Check-in was a breeze. We met different front desk staff during our stay and everyone was extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. We were reminded that to avoid crowds during breakfast, guests have to choose hourly slots for breakfast for each day the evening before.
Our room was very spacious and I loved the vibe of the hotel. This was no boring standard beige colors but rather bold. I also liked the flooring in the room.
The hotel has complimentary breakfast for all its guests. Breakfast had a variety of hot options such as eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes as well as cold cuts, yogurt, cereals.
As I mentioned before that the front desk was very responsive. When we indicated that we were leaving very early on our check-out date for train to Oslo, they provided us with a to-go bag that had croissants, yogurt and even encouraged us to pick more from the buffet table as it was being prepared to be served later for hotel guests.
