Day 1:
We arrived at Santorini Athinios port (new port) for our SeaJets ferry to Naxos. The ferry ride takes about 3 hours from Santorini to Naxos (depending on which ferry boat you choose).
We arrived at Naxos port early afternoon.
We were staying at Fanis Hotel close to Agia Anna Beach. The hotel provided complimentary shuttle service to hotel. After freshening up we walked to Lefto’s Souvlaki Kebab House at Agios Prokopios Beach for lunch
After lunch, we went to Agia Anna Beach right across from Fanis hotel.
The water was still very cold so we shifted to the hotel pool.
We walked from our hotel a few steps to Avli Restaurant for dinner. Everything was fresh and tasty. You cannot beat the open air seating right across from the beach.
Day 2:
We grabbed some breakfast from the local market and relaxed on our hotel balcony. Afterwards we also chilled out at the beach.
For lunch, we headed back over to Lefto’s Souvlaki Kebab House and tried some other items on the menu.
We had to head out to a local diagnostic center to get our Covid-19 test done. Afterwards we finished our day at the pool.
Day 3:
We went to a local crepe shop to have some savory crepes for breakfast. Karen also went to a local market to get some spices and olives to take home.
Afterwards we headed back to the beach and spent a couple of hours soaking up the sun.
We went back to Avli Restaurant for lunch. The fried zucchinis were heavenly!!
After lunch, it was time for us to leave Naxos and head back to Athens.
