Day 1:

We arrived at Caticlan International Airport on a short 1 hour Philippines Airlines flight from Cebu International Airport. I had already pre-booked a transfer package for seamless transfer for the trip. It included Bus transfer from Caticlan Airport to Jetty – ferry from Caticlan to Boracay – Bus transfer from Boracay Jetty to hotel and back in reverse order at the end of our trip. Total cost was 20 USD per person round-trip.

The Adobo chicken was very tasty and our introduction to the Philippines cuisine for the next 5 days. I was not too amazed by the Lapu Lapu fish. It was still a memorable experience having dinner with such nice ambience.

After dinner we walked along the beach from Station 1 to the D’Mall in Station 2 and back.

Day 2:

For our first breakfast at the resort, to set the tone for the entire stay, I tried all the Filipino dishes they had on offer especially the fried fish.

After breakfast at the resort, we hit the beach. The beach on Station 1 is really beautiful with white sand, fairly uncrowded and shallow for a great distance.

Late afternoon we walked along the beach from Station 1 to 2 to reach D’Mall.

We decided to have lunch at a restaurant located inside D’Mall. We ordered to share a pancit palabok (seafood noodle dish) and Halo Halo Ice-cream for dessert. The seafood dish was very tasty as was the Halo Halo. If you are in the Philippines and want to try a local dish, you cannot exit the country without at least trying this dessert once.

Day 3 Lunch @ a DMall Restaurant.

After lunch we walked around the D’Mall and took selfies by the sign.
