This Marriott Rewards Category 4 hotel is located less than 3 miles away from Reagan National Airport (DCA). The hotel provides complimentary shuttle to and from this airport (although there is no shuttle for Dulles International Airport which is around 25 miles away).
The hotel is located right opposite of the Pentagon and if you request a “high floor with a view” you could get a room that has great views of the Pentagon along with really awesome views of the DC memorials & monuments.
The front desk staff are really helpful. They know that this hotel is ranked #1 in Tripadvisor among all hotels in Arlington and they really go above and beyond to make the guests happy. We requested a high floor room with a view and the front desk agent was more than happy to fulfill the request.
We stayed on the 17th floor and from the lobby area outside the elevator, you got this great view of the Pentagon.
We had amazing views of the Washington DC monuments from our room itself. You could clearly see the Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial. The Capitol building is not appearing in the photograph but you could see it from the room too.
The hotel has complimentary breakfast and it is by far one of the best ones I’ve had. There was a large selection of items – scrambled eggs, two types of potatoes, bacon slices, fruits, juice, cereals, waffles, great coffee and the attendants were refilling items very quickly. There is plenty of seating area but it being a large hotel, it would not be uncommon to have all seating area occupied during breakfast hour.

- Kitchenette equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, large refrigerator. Adequate utensils provided.
