Radisson Blu Le Dokhan’s Hotel, Paris Trocadero
117 rue de Lauriston, 75116, Paris, France

Radisson Blu Le Dokhan’s Hotel is located in the Paris Trocadero area. It is about 8 minutes walking distance from the Trocadero Metro station (Metro Line 6 and 9) and 15 minutes walking distance from the Eiffel Tower. This is a true boutique hotel with eclectic interior decoration and furnishings. This hotel is the home of the Le Dokhan’s Bar, the oldest champagne bar in the city of Paris. A free night at this hotel now requires 70,000 Club Carlson points (for standard room) and 105,000 Club Carlson points (for premium award room).

One of the unique features of this hotel is the elevator. Made out of original Louis Vuitton wardrobe trunk, it is very unique albeit space constrained !!

The room decor is unique befitting a boutique hotel like this one. The bed is very comfortable.

Welcome Amenity

Wi-fi is free at this hotel, which should be a given but unfortunately plenty of hotels in Europe still charge for wi-fi.

Small sized room

Bathroom is elegant with marble throughout the room.

Beautiful bathroom with marble work

The one downside of the bathroom is the extremely tiny space around the toilet and a lack of airconditioning in the bathroom.

Thumbs up:

  • Excellent location !! Within 7 minutes walking distance of Trocadero metro stop giving direct access to Metro line 6 and 9
  • Within 15 minutes walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and 20 minutes from Arc de Triomphe.
  • Boutique hotel with unique decor and furnishing
  • Home of the oldest champagne bar in Paris, Le Dokhan’s bar
  • There is a convenience store/deli across the hotel which should seriously curb dining budget should you choose to avail it.

Thumbs down:

  • Space constraints throughout the hotel. Elevator (even though a funky, unique one made out of Louis Vuitton trunk) barely fits one person and one piece of luggage. Hallways are narrow as are staircases.
  • Pretty expensive hotel if not staying with points.
  • No in-house restaurants other than Le dokhan’s bar.
