Flight: Lufthansa LH 754 from Frankfurt to Bangalore

Lufthansa operates a Boeing 747-800 on this route with 2 x 2 x 2 layout in Business Class downstairs and 2 x 2 upstairs. Since I was traveling by myself and opted for a middle row downstairs (for direct aisle access and having seatmate not climbing over mid-flight).
For a 9 hour flight, Lufthansa was pretty generous in feeding us 2 full meals :).
Lunch service started soon after takeoff. In other flights usually one picks only the entree selection and all appetizers are served. However on this flight, there were even a choice of appetizers.
After lunch I went to sleep for a couple of hours. After I woke up I decided to watch a couple of movies. Dinner service started about 2 hours before landing.

The seat is flat-bed but one must deduct some points for all seats not having direct aisle access.
The service was pretty unremarkable for the flight. Nothing rude but nothing very friendly or endearing either.
I really liked the menu options for this flight. As I mentioned before, for just a 9 hours flight Lufthansa serves both a full lunch AND dinner on this flight which is awesome. I loved both the Paneer Korma as well as Andhra Roast for the entree options during the flight.
