Havelock Island is probably the most picturesque of all the Andaman Islands and has the most number of resorts. I wanted to splurge on this stay and after careful consideration chose Tilar Siro. This property is located closer to Vijay Nagar Beach on the east side of Havelock Island (renamed as Swaraj Dweep). The property has its own semi-private beach and another much larger beach next to it. Lush green scenery, amazing service, and well maintained property are just some of the things you get for paying a pretty penny at this resort!! We had a very memorable stay of 2 nights at this property.
Check-in was fairly quick. We were taken to a special screening room where they gave a PowerPoint show introducing the resort and its amenities.
The resort has its own semi-private beach which was very picturesque.
Our rate included breakfast for all guests and we availed it at the in-property restaurant on the 2nd floor of the main building. There were a variety of choices (mostly Indian) and there was also an omelette/dosa station that would prepare some daily menu items for you.

- Room was large, clean, well maintained. The bed was very comfortable.

- The resort is quite pricey and relative value is in the eyes of the beholder
- Okay’ish choices for breakfast although I was expecting more (for a pricey resort)
