Cathay Pacific Business Class on the Boeing 777-300ER is my highest number of flown business class legs of any airline. 10 years ago, it probably was my top 5  favorite business class carrier but post-covid the catering standards have fallen quite a bit and it is no longer in my top 5. However, the seat is still excellent and if business award inventory matches my dates, I will not hesitate to fly it again and again.

Cathay Pacific has an expanded catering menu online that you can select up to 24 hours before flight. I went with baked crab with Chinese fried rice (not shown on actual onboard menu).

Cathay Pacific Business Class Dining Menu
Baked crab with Chinese fried rice followed by cheese plate & fresh fruit for dessert

I was not very impressed with the baked crab. The actual edible portion was quite small despite how the picture looks. I did enjoy the cheese plate for dessert and fresh fruits. Following dinner I laid out the seat and went for a good 8 hours sleep.

Cathay seat and bedding really good for a good sleep
Toasted Sourdough with smoked salmon and herbed ricotta

Bottomline:
Seat: *****
Service: ***
Food: ***

Reverse herringbone with 1 – 2 – 1 seats just works!!. Its the golden standard if you will. I have never not have a good sleep on Cathay long haul and this was no exception.

As I mentioned before, Cathay catering feels like it has dropped off a bit since covid. There were a few expanded choices from catering menu online and maybe I went with a wrong choice (certainly possible). I have had better meals on Cathay itself before.
