LOT Business Class on Boeing 787

This was our 2nd ever flight on LOT after flying the outbound at this same segment at the beginning of our Europe trip. The LOT business class on Boeing 787 has 4 rows of 2 – 2 – 2 seats. I usually prefer having the middle rows in such configuration as both seats have direct aisle access. However, since I was flying with Karen we decided to go for the bulkhead seat.

The seat pitch is quite high on the LOT business and makes for a very comfortable space around you.

Our seats – 1A/1B
Seat & Controls
IFE Monitors (left), Bulkhead rows in Business (right)
LOT Business Class Dining Menu
Pre-departure appetizer & Drinks
Nuts, Corn Cream Soup
Grilled prawns in pineapple curry sauce
Ice-cream for dessert. So many selections the tray

After meal I laid out the seat in bed mode and went to sleep. The seat cushion is comfortable and I had a great daytime sleep.

Pre-landing meal service – (from left) Roasted Sweet Potato salad, shrimp, fresh fruit, Ravioli with ricotta & spinach

I was not a fan of the cold shrimp but the ravioli with ricotta & spinach was tasty.

Bottomline:

Seat: ***

Service: ***

Food: ***

The cabin felt very spacious and the seat pitch is very good. Not a big fan of the 2 – 2 – 2 seating but as was traveling with my wife, not an issue on this flight.

Food was ok, nothing spectacular and nothing terrible.
