ibis Saigon Airport Hotel

ibis Saigon Airport Hotel is located just 5 minutes drive from Saigon International Airport (Tan Son Nhat International Airport). After arriving at Saigon, our original plan was to do a day tour during our short transit stay here before our onward flight to India. However, it was so hot and humid (and also being tired from long flight from US), we opted to just stay and relax at a hotel for a few hours before our flight. After checking the rates, I booked a Grab to the hotel. On arrival, we opted to book a day room for 6 hours. It was something like 80$ USD for the day use.
There is a Starbucks in the lobby itself and while waiting for our room to be available, we had breakfast sandwich there.
Like all the Ibis properties I have stayed in the past, the walk-in shower is very small.
Thumbs up:
- Very close to the airport (only 5 minutes by car).
- Day room use available which is useful for folks arriving early in the morning from a flight.
- Menas Mall only 2 minutes walk from the hotel which has plenty of dining options along with shopping
