Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa
J.E. Irausquin Boulevard 81, Noord, Aruba

Radisson resort is the lone Club Carlson property in Aruba. It is located next to the all inclusive Riu resort on Palm Beach in the High-Rise area. A free night at this resort costs 50,000 and 75,000 Club Carlson points for standard room award and premium room award respectively.

Hotel Entrance

We arrived at just after 1 pm and check-in was fairly quick. Front desk agent told us she upgraded us to an oceanview king deluxe room. As a Club Carlson gold member, we are not eligible for complimentary breakfast but there are so many restaurants and fast food places on the property as well as just outside the resort that it was not any issue at all.

Hotel Lobby

The room turned out to be the biggest room we have ever stayed. The room was so big that with bed, sofa, dining table, work area all being in the room, did not feel cluttered at all. The bed was pretty comfy with cushy comforters.

Bathroom

The bathroom was spacious with plenty of toiletries provided.

There was a small patio outside which had some decent far away views of Palm Beach. It was pretty windy for the two days we stayed here, so we were not able to enjoy much of the patio.

Patio view

The resort is pretty huge with lots of trees and vegetation throughout the property. They have exotic bird cages and wild geckos wandering around the property.

There are plenty of swimming pools around the resort.

Hotel Grounds

The resort sits right on Palm Beach. The hotel provides complimentary towels, chairs and shades for its guests. The only caveat is that the chairs and shades must be booked by 4 PM the previous day and if you don’t claim your chairs and shades by 10 am then it goes on a “first come first served” basis for any guests of the hotel.

Hotel Beach (Palm Beach)

The resort has multiple restaurants and bars on its property. We tried out some appetizers at the Gilligans beach bar one night and some happy hour drinks at the Mira Solo bar the other night.

Thumbs up:

  • Excellent location right on Palm Beach !!
  • Resort has multiple restaurants on property. There are also quite a few dining options just outside the resort within close walking distance.

Thumbs down:

  • None that I could think of.
