MilesPointsTravel Disclaimer: This review is solely the work of Karen. I personally did not fly this segment.

British Airways Business Class (Club World) features 7 rows of seats in 2 x 4 x 2 configuration with both forward and rear facing seats. This is quite a dense configuration and mainly the window seats afford a bit of privacy and the rest of them feel very open. British Airways charges for advance seat assignment for even Business Class and I opted to select a seat during check-in and got an aisle seat in middle row.

British Airways LHR – MLE Business Class Dining Menu
Dinner Entrée – British Chicken Supreme with oven roasted broccolini and truffle gnocchi, Dessert – Cheese Plate
Seat converted to bed

The seat is flat but the mattress was almost flush with arm rest and felt like I could fall off the seat in sleep. Also the seat felt very exposed and lacked privacy.

Enjoying some IFE before going to sleep
Breakfast – Belgian Waffles with fresh berry ragout, Fresh Seasonal Fruit

Bottomline:

Seat: ***

Service: ***

Food: ***

The seats in Club World lacked privacy with the exception of window seats. The mattress was flush with the sides of the seat and felt like you could fall down while sleeping!! Also non-aisle row passengers have to step over seat-mates to access aisle.

The dining was quite good and the service was decent, nothing memorable.
