Flight:  Korean Air KE 652 from Bangkok to Seoul

Duration: 5 hours 20 minutes

Equipment: B773(Boeing 777-300)

Class: Business

Seat: 9A(Window)

Seat Specification: Lie Flat Seat (not true lie flat) Seat pitch: 74″, Seat width: 20.6″

Korean Air operates various aircraft types (with different configurations) between Bangkok and Seoul including Airbus 330, Airbus 380, Boeing 777-300. I ended up on a Boeing 777-300 with 2 x 3 x 2 seating in Business Class. For a short haul flight such as this one, it wasn’t too bad. However, had I gotten this seat on a TPAC flight, I would not be thrilled at all.

Dining Menu

This is quite a late flight and I had already dined at the lounge so opted to just go to sleep for the entirety of the flight. I converted the seat to bed after takeoff. Even though the seat is advertised as lie-flat, its not a completely horizontal flat bed. I had trouble sleeping on my back and had better luck on my side.

Bottomline:

Seat: **1/2

Service: ***

Food: N/A

I am not a big fan of seat configuration where all seats do not have direct aisle access (especially when traveling by myself). There is enough seat pitch in business class seats but the bed is not true lie-flat (regardless of how its advertised).

I skipped the meal on this flight so cant review the taste or quality.
