Yet another review on Cathay Pacific Business class on Boeing 777-300 ER? I know, I know!! I have plenty of reviews on this same aircraft type that I have flown over the years.

Cathay Pacific Business Class Breakfast Menu HKG – LAX
Greek Style slow cooked lamb leg with yogurt over flat bread

I had high hopes for the lamb but unfortunately I was expecting (my fault) a lamb leg or a variation of some sort. Having it shredded over the flat bread did not taste that good and also had a funky smell. One of the worst lamb I have had in any Business class I would say.

Dessert – Persian orange polenta cake with pistachios and cream, Truffle chocolates

The polenta cake was dry although the cream did help.

Cathay Pacific Business Class Cabin

After dinner I was too tired to watch any inflight movies so laid out the seat to bed and went to sleep. The seat cushion on Cathay is just right and made for a great sleep for about 7 hours.

Seat converted to bed

I enjoyed the breakfast more than the dinner the night before. The potato cake was delicious but the cheese omelette was just standard.

Breakfast – Seasonal fresh fruit, cheese omelette, sausage, potato cake

Bottomline:
Seat: ****1/2
Service: ***
Food: ***

I have never had any issues with Cathay Pacific business class when it comes to seat or sleeping on the seat. This was no exception. I have seen better days when it comes to food though. This was my first time flying Cathay post-pandemic and looks like catering has definitely slipped a bit.
