I have flown the Cathay Pacific Business class on Boeing 777-300ER (on long haul flights) and Airbus A330 (on short haul flights). This was my first time flying the CX business class on A350 so was excited (although it was a very short flight of 3 hours). Business class is still on a 1 x 2 x 1 configuration and look and feel identical to the Boeing 777-300 business class.

Pre-departure beverage

The crew did not offer any menu for the meal onboard so at this time do not remember all the options available. The meal was ok, nothing memorable.

Business Class Meal – Omeltte, Bacon, Sausage and Potatoes

After the meal, I laid out the seat in bed mode just to try it out.

Bottomline:
Seat: *****
Service: ***
Food: ***

For a short 3 hour flight, this seat is an overkill. Could not have asked for a better seat and would not hesitate to fly this on ultra long haul flights. One positive feature of this seat is the lack of cubby hole which makes it easier on folks who toss and turn while sleeping. The seat cushion was very comfortable for sleeping.

The meal and service was ok but nothing memorable.
