Pre-departure beverage

Service began with a pre-departure beverage of fruit juice and was handed menu for the flight.

China Airlines Business Class Menu
Hoisin glazed roast chicken thigh with quinoa and vegetables
Dessert – Ice-cream

After lunch I tried to take a nap by increasing the recline of the seat and was still quite uncomfortable to sleep on. For a 3 hr flight this seat is perfectly adequate but would not want to travel longer journeys on this one for sure.

Bottomline:

Seat: **

Service: ***

Food: **

The seat was basic recliner seat which was ok for a sub 3-hr flight but would not want to fly on it anywhere more than 4 hours (especially in Business class). The food was not the most tasty and quite forgettable.
